She is only Monarch to celebrate a Sapphire Jubilee, a Platinum wedding anniversary, she is the world’s oldest and longest reigning monarch, and the second monarch in British history to have celebrated a diamond jubilee (the other was Queen Victoria. King George III was a few months short of qualifying for a diamond jubilee celebration).
In February 2017 The Queen became the only British Monarch in history to celebrate a Sapphire Jubilee – 65 years on the throne, and in November 2017 The Queen celebrated her Platinum wedding anniversary – 70 years of marriage to Prince Philip.
